Dear Friends:

I hope you are well, healthy and safe despite the dangerous weather events we are having in different parts of the country.

The month of September was super busy with lots of art related activities. In the beginning of the month, I traveled to paint in Suffolk, VA, and then, immediately after I returned, I commuted to paint in the neighboring city of  Falls Church, VA, for their Annual Plein Air Festivals. I was honored to be able to participate in these two prestigious events and I was very grateful to be able to show my work in these communities.

In September, I painted plein air at beautiful private farms in Purcellville, VA, Meadowlark Botanical Gardens in Fairfax County, VA and at Leesylvania Park in Prince William County, VA. I feel I am living my best life, painting at beautiful locations, together with my friendly art community.

I am happy to report that I succeeded in the Strada Easel challenge, in which I painted and posted everyday on social media. Scroll down to see a few samples of paintings that I painted during this month's challenge. To see all the paintings, go to my Instagram page at @theresamillerfinearts.

October is the month of Studio Tour in Great Falls, VA. I will be welcoming many people at my studio, the Artists' Atelier, which is one of the stops for the Great Falls Studio Tour. This is my personal invitation to the tour, I hope to see you there!

I have work exhibited with Great Falls Studios at the Great Falls Library during the month of October and part of November, so if you are at the library, either picking up books or voting, take a look at our exhibit.
